Bruny Island Hideaway

Only if I can show you how to be happy with little. It is simple and minimalistic, it is green and sustainable, it is so wild that you feel a million miles away from civilisation. Surrounded by 99 acres of conservation forest, you will find abundant wildlife. You can hear the birds during the day and wallabies at night. Eagles soar in the sky. Try stargazing and spot the Aurora. I enjoy the tranquillity and solitude of the place, but it's also special to share with company. 4WD is recommended.

Te Kuiti is a new, tastefully furnished bungalow set in bushland with extensive views of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel. The perfect place to relax and enjoy all Bruny has to offer. The space is bright and light filled with a well-appointed kitchen, comfortable living and dining areas that open onto a wrap-round deck with views of the bushland, the Channel and across to the Huon Valley estuary and the Hartz Range. The Bungalow shares the property with our home, Te Kuiti Cottage, where we live.

Te Papa Rua Family Accommodation

Te Papa Rua (Our Place Two) is a fully selfcontained 3 bedroom house. Two bedrooms have queen size beds and the third bedroom has two single beds. There is also a porta cot available. The house has a reverse cycle air conditioner (heat pump) and there is a wood heater in the lounge area. Tepapa Rua is fully fenced and is pet friendly as well, but they must be kept outside. There is a covered well protected area at the back door.
