The front porch has an amazing view to sit out enjoy your coffee as you watch ducks swim the river! The house also has steps leading down to the river with a private dock for fishing and swimming right in front!

Our cottage is across the street from the South shore of Munising Bay, next door to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore with Lake Superior kayaking, biking, hiking, ORV and snowmobile trails, and multiple waterfalls nearby. For hikers, the North Country Trail passes by the font door. A public fishing pier is across the street at the mouth of the Anna River. Close to restaurants, the beach, and fishing. Great base camp for Ice fishing on Lake Superior right across the street. Sorry no pets!

Chocolay River Cabin

Small hand hewn log cabin on Chocolay River. Good fishing, approximately 5 miles from snowmobile and ORV trails. Full kitchen. 1 BR (Q), Full sofa sleeper and 1 bath. Outdoor electric sauna. A fire pit. Washer/dryer. Basic amenities. Full kitchen. There is WiFi but cell service can be very sketchy. Texting does seem to work ok. We do have a cell phone booster there but it still isn’t great. If you need to make a call you can drive about 1 mile out to US 41 and service is good.

The house sleeps 7 people & includes 1 bedroom with a king bed, 1 bedroom with a twin over queen bunk bed, & a pull-out couch (full) in the living room. It has 1 full-sized bathroom, stocked with toilet paper & towels. There is a washer & dryer in a small laundry area with hooks for hanging coats, clothes, etc. There is no cell phone service at the house, but there is good Internet & a Smart TV in the living room. Absolutely NO pets or smoking!
