Cosy Log Cabin

Lovely, tranquil retreat on the road to Llansteffan, three miles from Carmarthen. The log cabin is at the far end of a large lily pond within the grounds of our three-acre garden. Features include a log burner, fluffy bathrobes, slippers and towels, DVD library, large box of games, private deck and garden area overlooking the pond, BBQ and outdoor lighting. NB: the Cosy Cabin does not have WiFi. It is not suitable for children under the age of 12 because of the log burner and the large pond.

Friday and Saturday checkin only. Gwen Cottage is a newly renovated boutique holiday cottage sleeping two, nestled on a beautiful hillside in Carmarthenshire. We have dramatic views from the gardens across the picturesque Tywi Valley, stretching across to Dinefwr castle and Golden Grove estate. We are just outside of the pretty town of Llandeilo which has a wonderful array of independent stores, antiques and coffee shops in a beautiful setting. Family and kid friendly.

We are happy to welcome well behaved dogs to the cottage. Troedyrhiw is the perfect base for being in nature, walking, cycling and exploring the scenic areas of this beautiful part of West Wales. Rhydwen is a 200 year old cottage, refurbished in 2020. This season we have installed a new electric shower, more insulation and a 70m2 patio Nestled in the Ceri valley, surrounded by woods and farmland. It’s quiet, very quiet. The Red Kites provide the Ariel display and the night sky is so dark millions of stars appear. The local beaches are just stunning - Penbryn and Tresaith being the closest at around 3 miles, Llangrannog and Aberporth a few miles further.
