Our newly renovated house is located in the historic center but in a pleasant and quiet area even in the most lively months of the season. In the evening you can enjoy one of the most spectacular sunsets of the island of Elba from one of the windows of the house and then, with 50 meters, find yourself in the pedestrian street of the town and enjoy an aperitif and dinner in one of the many places that characterize the country. The apartment is complete with everything and allows you to fully live the old village and its life.

Follow the lights...

The lights on the right of the cover picture are the ones of our family house in Forno. The village is located at the end of the Biodola bay on Elba island. This home was built by boat by my grand-mother, a painter who had fallen in love with the place. We manage it for the family. It is located at the limit of the national park, and hence still only accessible by boat or by foot today. It has a private (stone) beach just below the house, and easy access to a small sand beach close to the house.

Olives, lemons, oranges, figs, vegetables and herbs grow in the garden. Next door Ayurveda massages can be booked. On foot it is 30 minutes beautiful walk to the village. For smaller trips bicycles are available. - The entire property (Anwesen) is kept smoke free, a few steps outside can be smoked like.

The structure and furnishings, as much as possible, have remained the ones of the past. The interior is now vintage with reclaimed items. The house is cool but a good air conditioning system doesn't hurt! The courtyard is the place where you spend summer time while in winter we meet in front of the fireplace. Allaround there are succulents and bougainvils that hide the outdoor shower and the nearby friend's fig tree whose fruits fall into our space and which we invite you to taste...

This is a cosy house, just refurbished with all comforts, at south side of the Island, between Capoliveri and sea in Località Peducelli, sorrounded by a 500 meters garden with an beautiful view on the sea. the beach is about 10 minutes walking down the hill from home. It is just the right place to relax far from the cities and the crowded beaches during summer time. Enjoy the sunset from home ! You can bring your pet (check the House Rules first).

Cosy house at Porto Azzurro

Porto Azzurro, the house, with beautiful view, has been renovated recently. (2015-2016). The house has good place for 4 persons, but can have place for 6. The beach, "Golfo della Mola", that is very close to our house, is perfect for who has a kayak or a small boat. To bath we recommend sand beaches that is 1-2 km away.
