Hawthorns Cottage is located down a quiet path in the pretty village of Pikes Hill, on the edge of Lyndhurst. The cosy cottage has been recently renovated, and has lovely light rooms with plenty of period features. It's in a quiet location, with easy access to the amazing New Forest countryside, as well as being close to the amenities in Lyndhurst - including pubs, tea rooms, gift shops, restaurants, takeaways, bus tours and the New Forest visitor centre. A really great location for a holiday.

We' re in the New Forest, as little as 4 mins on foot to fabulous forest walks and trails. There are pubs and restaurants within walking distance ( The White Hart, The Coach and Horses, Le Chateau Bistro.) 4 miles to Lyndhurst, Highcliffe castle beach, Steamer Point, Mudeford approx 30 mins drive. This bijou maisonette is a delightful space conveniently located behind Lyndhurst High Street. Compact but offering everything that is needed for a short stay. There is even a small courtyard garden for relaxing in or where bikes can be locked away. The location is perfect for exploring all that Lyndhurst offers and as a base for enjoying the entire new Forest area. Being within the heart of the village gives endless opportunities for trying out the many restaurants and cafes.

Bramblings, New Forest cottage by the green

Bramblings is in a magical position, at the edge of Lyndhurst, on the green and just over the cattle grid. It is just a short walk in to Lyndhurst for restaurants, cafes and shopping and there are great walks and cycling direct from the house. Remember to keep the gate shut whenever you are coming and going as the ponies, donkeys and cows are free to meander just outside and they are always keen to help themselves to the greenery in the garden.
