Allandale Bush Retreat

A nice relaxing bush setting,on a lifestyle block, that also has farm animals.( chickens, ducks & sheep). There is seasonal fruit to pick from our trees, such as apples pears & feijoas. You can have breakfast outdoors with the bellbirds or a barbecue in the evening. We are only an hours walk along a beach track to the local Otorimiro(Governors Bay) hotel , or else it is 5 minutes drive. We are surrounded by beautiful scenery and close to the Port Hill walking tracks and mountain bike trails.

Quiet unit by the hill & the bay. (Sorry no Shops)

Private unit next to the owners house. Well separated by trees. Own drive & entrance. 2 Bedrooms, but the smaller one is tight for 2 adults. Microwave, fridge, toaster and Kettle, no Cooker. Bathroom and living area. Fully insulated and double glazed with a heat pump/air con. Lovely quiet area with beautiful views of the hills and a 900m walk from Sandy Bay Beach. 25mins drive from Christchurch Centre. Please note there are no shops in Governors Bay but there is a cafe and a pub.

Romantic Cottage with fantastic view!

Beautiful cottage with fantastic view. The cottage has a queen bed, shower, bath and toilet with own deck. Not self-contained but has a kettle, toaster, microwave and small fridge and bbq set. Tea/Plunger coffee are provided. There is a walking track below the cottage and also more walks around here. We are located in Diamond Harbour, 20min walk to jetty that you can catch a ferry to Lyttelton, only 10min ride, beautiful journey.

Come relax and experience the tranquility of Purau Bay. Just 50minute drive from Christchurch city you are amongst this semi-rural holiday community. A fully private residence situated within a 50m walk to Purau Beach. The neighbourhood is friendly and peaceful. The beach is excellent for swimming at high tide in the summer and walking at low tide all year round. A great place to rest and unwind.

This is a great place to relax and admire the views into Purau Bay and out to Lyttelton Heads. The cottage is hidden in the bush and very private (not a roof in sight) with spectacular views. Tranquility and peace are keywords here. Wake up to the song of the bell bird and the sun streaming in. It's a 5 minute walk to a cafe and restaurant and a 10 minute walk to the ferry to Lyttelton.
