Stunning period Farmhouse in rural setting

Dating from 1762, this beautiful stone cottage is full of period features, beamed ceilings and a huge inglenook fireplace. Lovely rural hillside location in a courtyard setting, 2 miles from the main road along a country lane, but only 9 miles from Ruthin. Enjoy the lovely private garden, watch the birds or stargaze at night whilst sharing a bottle of wine in the 'Piggery'. Perfectly placed for all that North Wales has to offer. Great for couples, adventurers, families and dogs. Car essential.

Glan Dwr is set on a quiet country lane in the village of Graigfechan, 4 miles from Ruthin and within easy reach of the Offas Dyke walkers path and Coed Llandegla cycle trails. It is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists or for visiting relatives locally. We are ideally located for visiting the north Wales coast and mountains. Llangollen, with its many attractions is a short drive away. Please note we do not have facilities for children or infants. Smoking is not allowed inside or outdoors.

Set in a cottage garden on a hillside above the town of Llangollen our lovely blue cabin has panoramic views across town towards Castell Dinas Bran and the Horseshoe Pass. Beautiful Llangollen is great for a break any time of year. No hot tub available on: Dec 20th to 23rd 2024 24th March to 3rd Feb 2025 Prices lower to reflect that. Enjoy a relaxing stay in a perfect location which includes a hot tub and large open decking with seating surrounded by stunning views of the Dee valley. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Surrounded by amazing views, including Hope Mountain one side and the remains of the old viaduct nestled in amongst trees the other side. Set within the grounds of the Hall, the accommodation provides a peaceful retreat. Just 13 miles from Chester, 17 miles from Chester Zoo and about an hours drive from Snowdonia. Lots of great walks in the area, also 'One Planet Adventure' is nearby offering mountain biking, walking and trail running.

With under-floor heating, a Sauna and a full cinema system with pull down screen and a stunning audio system from Monitor Audio.
