Welcome to the Lake Burton Highlands Hideaway featuring beautiful mountain views and sunsets from the porch. Our cabin is less than a half mile from Murray Cove boat ramp, 10 min to Stonewall Creek Winery and other great dining. 12 min. to downtown Clayton via paved roads. 20 min. to Tallulah Falls, 30 min. to Helen and 45 min. to Highlands, NC. This is our personal vacation home in a residential area. We are best suited for relaxing mountain getaways and small family vacations. No lake view.

This cabin is located 15 minutes from Helen, GA. 750 feet of Chattahoochee river frontage are all accessible & private for all your desires. The cabin is located 400' from the river and you can drive or walk down all the Firepits and grills at the river. The property backs up to Buck Shoals Wildlife Management Area which has miles of hiking trails and is very private. Huge hot tub for enjoyment!

Gathering Moss Cottage is a wonderful family getaway or 2 to 3 couples retreat on Lake Burton. Great views from the screened porch while reading a book or watching the kids play in the lake. Make some great memories at this fantastic cottage. New firepit is in just off the steps leading to the lake. Kayak's are available on site as well as pontoon boat rental from your host delivered to the dock, no pu or drop off. Tubes for tubing behind the boat available for the kids!
