Here you can wake up to lovely views of the fjord in a simple and peaceful apartment on the 3rd floor. Enjoy your morning coffee by the kitchen counter or on the porch with the same great view you see from the bed. Right outside the door, you can follow the walkway down to the city, jump on the bus (which also stops right outside the door and takes 12 minutes to Strømsøtorg and the train station), or you can take the path up to Nordbykollen with panoramic views from the lookout tower. Arrowing in winter time and swimming or boating on summer time can be enjoyed right outside the door. The area is a part of a nature reserve, with rich bird life. Simple and peaceful accommodation with downtown location in the neighborhood of Danvik. It is 1.2 km (about 16 minutes) to walk from/to Jernbanen. It is 1.7 km (about 23 min) to walk to USN. Bus stop is just below the apartment. There are two bus lines that both go to Drammen Sentrum. There are several supermarkets within walking distance. The field with hiking opportunities, swimming area in the summer and ski slopes in the winter is not far away.

Cozy house 30 min from Oslo, close to lakes.

Asker has a lot to offer, and Engelsrud is surrounded by three lakes which gives many opportunities for recreation summer and winter. Our garden/yard is very family friendly. A five minute walk from the house you can get public transportation bringing you downtown Asker in ten min. Asker has a small, but well developed downtown with a nice selection of stores, restaurants and coffeeshops. Trains will bring you to Oslo in twenty min.
