The Blacksmith's Workshop

In ancient times, the house was a blacksmith's workshop with his little adjacent house. Recently renovated in a contemporary key, it has become a residence on two floors of about 80 square meters. On the ground floor is the living area with the dining table, kitchen, amenities and a wine pantry, accessible by a wooden staircase with stairs. A second black iron staircase leads to the intermediate mezzanine where the studio is organized. The balustrade becomes the countertop and overlooks the double height. On the first floor are the two en suite bedrooms. The floors are made of resized concrete and part with reclaimed concrete pork tiles; the upper floor is finished with parquet. Special are the vintage furnishings, the lighting of the rooms and the contemporary art paintings of a young Sicilian artist-designer. The house is equipped with winter and summer air conditioning, wifi, TV and dishwasher.
