In 2023, the entire cottage was renovated, bathrooms, kitchen living room and all other rooms have been redesigned. A PV system was installed in 2024. The cottage is far away from the noise and hustle, in the middle of the Franconian Forest, more precisely in the healing spring protection area directly at the entrance to the idyllic Höllental. This invites nature lovers to hike, bike, and turn on Nordic walking. The routes can start right outside the house door. The vacation home is the right half of the house, without the balcony.

We offer a beautiful holiday home in Franconian Switzerland. After our children have moved out, we have prepared the house, which is centrally located in a small place, for guests. Only a few meters away is an inn (Wed+Thu rest day) as well as a bakery in the neighboring village Thanks to the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, you can also take care of yourself. The keys are handed over in person, which is why it would already be if you could tell us your approximate arrival time.

We lovingly restored our old farmhouse in 2016. The indoor climate is pleasant because the whole house is equipped with wall heating and clay plaster. It is located in a small town with only a few houses and is particularly suitable for nature lovers and people looking for peace and tranquility. Children will also get their money's worth. In the winter months perfect for winter sports in and around Oberhof, the rest of the year great for hiking, cycling and SightSeeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and more. Our sauna requires a short preparation. If you would like to use the sauna, please let us know after booking. Furthermore, we have a pool that you are also welcome to use. Hot tub is currently broken.
