Charming 18th Century Georgian Barn Conversion.

Welcome to Manor Cottage Barn. Situated in the quiet village of Averham just outside of Newark Upon Trent in rural Nottinghamshire. The barn itself is an 18th century chapel and barn combined and was fully restored in the 90's. Inside there are two large rooms, one comprising of a lounge area for guests and a small workshop area dedicated to picture framing. The other is a Bedroom, kitchen and dining room with a separate Bathroom. *This is a no smoking anywhere including outside home. Thankyou.

This luxurious one-bedroom barn is an ideal bolt hole for a country getaway. It has a quiet village location, no street lights and the Beck to the front of the property. If you enjoy vaulted ceilings, lots of beams with a contemporary feel, then this is the place for you. Need to go to Southwell, Brackenhurst or Nottingham? 4 minutes’ walk away is the bus stop with a direct service (late night too) for Southwell, Brackenhurst or Nottingham. Recently converted from a small barn (circa 1850), the self-contained studio combines character with tasteful furnishings. Separate from the main house and with security gates and 24 hour CCTV, it provides parking, an outdoor seating area and views over the paddock of horses and free ranging chickens. Upton is a small village,two miles from Southwell, with country walks, a great pub serving freshly prepared food, and a cafe . Transport can be provided from Newark or Southwell by arrangement.

A cosy self-contained annexe with off-road parking in the popular village of Farnsfield. An ideal base for a weekend exploring Robin Hood country, the Derbyshire countryside or the nearby towns of Nottingham and Newark. The property has been recently renovated and offers a comfortable studio with two single beds and dining area, en-suite shower room and kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge, toaster and kettle. Due to COVID restrictions we are leaving a minimum of 24 hours between bookings.
