In season, Orø offers a number of small cafes and restaurants, a cosy minizoo, a playground and a child-friendly beach. There are 2 ferry connections to Orø – from Hammer Bakker - 6 minutes - and from Holbæk - 30 minutes. The cottage is located at the edge of a small peace forest with a rich bird life; and from the forest, deer often visit the garden. The garden consists of a large lawn, surrounded by trees. Great to play and play ball on. From the house it is 5 min. to the water on foot and 5 min. by car to Orøs beach.

The apartment: a bedroom with 2 really good box- mattresses, which serve as a double bed or single beds. Both winter and summer duvets are extra long. Colorful house on small island

Our lovely summerhouse from 1972 is perfect for silence & coziness and for active family living. We have a lovely livingroom with a fireplace, two bedrooms, a fully equipted kitchen and a small bathroom. Everything decorated with a colorful mix of the 1970s and modern living. During summertime you can use our terrasses, trampoline, bonfire etc in our big and private garden. If you are lucky you can watch deer ,squirrels, pheasants and sometimes even owls.
