In a Faluröd log cabin on a farm, you will have the opportunity to experience the best Dalarna can offer. In the heart of Siljansnäs you will find this small farm cottage with room for three people. The cottage was renovated 2023, the bathroom 2018. Within walking distance there is a kiosk and grocery store as well as a little further up the village there is a cafe, hotel and mini golf. 200 meters from the front door is Byrviken, an excellent swimming area. Within a 20 minute drive there is also Tegera Arena, Granberget's ski slope and cross-country skiing.

The accommodation is a separate guest part of the house with own entrance. It consists of one bedroom with a double bed and one large living room with a bunk bed, kitchen area and seating area. The bathroom has a toilet, a shower and a washing machine. A large terrace facing the lake, with a seat under a pergola, and guests have their own disposal over the entire terrace. Possibility to borrow rowboat and life jackets. Towels and beds are not not, but are available to rent for SEK 150/set. Cleaning not included in the listing.

Cabin in the yard of larger houses. The cottage is completely newly renovated. Only for rental. Private patio and parking. Electric car charger. Bring your own cable. The entire farm is completely without access at the end of the road in the beautiful Dalabyn Djura. 3 km to a nice swimming lake. 15 km to Leksand with a large selection of ski tracks and courses for ice skating on Siljan. 30 km to Granberget ski resort. Large selection of sights and tourist attractions in the area. 7 min drive to the station and 3 min walk to bus.

Recharge your batteries with relaxing summer days in the sun and beautiful sunsets over the lake from the patio. I autumn, the trees show their full spectrum of colors and the darker evenings you spend in front of our cozy fireplace. In winter visit Bjursås Ski Center for nice downhill skiing & Sörskog for good cross-country skiing trails, or ice fish & skate on the lake outside the door.

The house is about 100 years old and consists of 2 rooms and a kitchen spread over 2 floors. 2.2 km to beautiful swimming area and 2.5 km to the island's well stocked grocery store. In the immediate area there is beautiful nature in the form of fields with sheep and horses. In the neighboring village of Gesunda you will find Tomteland and Gesundaberget! Iconic 19th century Dalarna farmstead, quietly situated near Lake Siljan. A comfortable combination of modern facilities with many original details, including fully functional tiled stoves. The cottage is partly newly renovated and is located on our own plot (5,000 sqm) in the beautiful village of Sunnanäng, Leksand. The village is the longest with Siljan, by car it takes 4 minutes to Leksand Sommarland, 8 minutes to central Leksand and just close to Tällberg.
