Beautiful tiny home, (10 ft. x 10 ft. with a sleeping loft above),designed by an architect, set on the hillside in rural Ontario, just 4 K from the artsy town of Warkworth. 30 acres with walking trails through the woods, outhouse, (An outhouse is a small structure, separate from a main building, which covers a toilet, with no plumbing.) warm water outdoor shower, (not available in the winter),large deck for star gazing, fire pit small cooling off pool in summer.

Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, library, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, no shower or wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Guests have their own cozy studio apartment, which is private and located on the ground floor with their own entrance. It does not include the entire cabin. Christine's Log Cabin is directly across from the beautiful Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a private beach (May-Oct). Perfect getaway any time of the year & complimentary Whiskey Maple Cake included.

Riverfront Lodging No cleaning fee !

A place to relax in winter in front of the gas stove with a beautiful view of the Otonabee River. In summer enjoy a swim or a paddle on on the river with one of our two kayaks. The kayaks are available between May 1st & October 1st as long as the river conditions are acceptable. Enjoy supper prepared using the fully equipped kitchen overlooking the river. A park like setting but only 5 minutes to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment in downtown Peterborough.
