Centrally located house in Skien

The house is centrally located in Skien, only 300 meters from the railway station/bus stop, which also has direct connection to both Torp and Gardermoen Airport. To Porsgrunn the estimated travelling time is 8 minutes by train. Bus M3 goes downtown to the main bus station, before it continues on to Herkules, Skien Fritidspark and Porsgrunn. The nearest convenience store, Kiwi, is 500 meters away, and downtown Skien about 1,5 kilometer away. In other words you can walk to everything. If you are travelling by car, you can park the vehichle for free on the premises. The 115 m2 (living space) house is built in the late 1920s by my great-grandfather & grandfather. The ground floor has a bedroom with a double bed, and a small bathroom with a shower right next to it. The toilet is literally one step away in the hallway. The living room is quite spacious with a 50-inch TV, Blu-ray player, and some Blu-ray videos for your pleasure. Between the bedroom and the living room is a well-stocked kitchen with stove, microwave and fridge. On the first floor is another bedroom with a double bed, and it is a sink in the room as well. The living room is divided into two parts. In the "TV-part" there is a IKEA-sofa which can be folded out to a double bed. In the "dining part" it is also a sofa which can be used as a single bed. It is as well another small room with one single bed. There is a another kitchen with stove and fridge between the master bedroom and living room. In the basement it is a somewhat bigger bathroom with another shower. If you need to wash your clothes, it is a washer in the basement. It is no dryer in the house, but you can dry your clothes in the garden weather permitting (or inside). The garden itself is quite big and has 5 apple trees. In season it is of course possible to pick some apples for personal consumption. Almost all the rooms in the house are decorated with pictures shot by myself all over the world. Wi-Fi is included. Non-smokers are preferred. If you want to smoke you can do that outside. Unfortunately, neither access to the building nor the flat's design is suited to visitors with physical disabilities. For your safety, there is a security camera on the property monitoring the driveway (and nothing else) Some possible excursions to do in this area: * Go with the ferry on the Telemark Canal, which dubs itself as one of the most beautiful waterways in the world. I would recommend a day trip to Lunde. The ferry leaves every morning from Skien from mid-May to mid-September. You can watch what the canal looks like on the Netflix show: "Slow TV: The Telemark Canal", released in August 2016. * Skien Fritidspark, which both have water- and zip-line park. * Brekkeparken - a park that double as museum. It has some interesting older buildings, which includes furniture and other things from the 18th and 19th century. * Playwright Henrik Ibsen was raised in Skien, and if you are into him, it is obligatory to visit the museum at Ibsen Venstøp. Skien also has some nice neighborhoods as Bakken and Snipetorp. * If you're into golf, it is a 18 hole par 72 course 7 km away @ Jønnevald. Grenland Golfklubb own the course. * It is a full size soccer field 150 meters away, which is empty almost all the time. Skagerak Arena, which is the home ground of Odd in the Norwegian Elite League (Tippeligaen), is only 1 kilometer away. * I for one, would in the summer get in the car (or bus) and drive to “summer cities” like Stavern, Langesund or Kragerø or visit the beach at Oddane Sand. All within 1 hour away. From Kragerø you can even jump on a ferry to the very nice island of Jomfruland. * If you have children, or are childish yourself, a one-hour drive to the water park in Bø Sommarland is normally a great excursions.

Romantic house with lovely views

Cozy house on Bratsbergkleiva in Skien, on top of the wooden house settlement in Snipetorp. Short walk to the center and nearest neighbor to Brekkeparken. house with veranda with beautiful views to the Telemark Canal, Skien center and the river that goes on to Porsgrunn and the sea. Free parking right next to the house. Located at the end of the cul-de-sac. Quiet, safe and family friendly. Two bedrooms, bathroom and hallway downstairs, open plan with kitchen and living room upstairs. New washing/drying machine, new TV, BangOlufsen facility converted for DAB/Bluetooth.

We rent out our home at Eidanger, a quiet neighborhood close to Porsgrunn city center, USN, forest and lake. Here we have three bedrooms, with beds for five, bathroom, spacious kitchen, as well as large living room and loft living room with TV and Playstation. Our garden is large, with several seating areas, trampoline and possibility of play. There are parking spaces in the yard, as well as carport for bicycles A 3 minute walk to the bus stop. Even if we are not at home, we have a cat that lives with us that comes and goes through our own cat slope.

Great house in the center with walking distance to "everything"!

Very good, house in Porsgrunn city center with free parking for more and large cars Two large, bedrooms + an alcove, with window. The house has two floors & two bathrooms. The house is equipped with everything you may need for both short and longer stays. Large, airy, room with good ceiling height and plenty of room. One bathroom has stylish, bathtub, washing machine and dryer while the second bathroom has a shower cubicle. Open kitchen and living room. All of the city center amenities are in the immediate vicinity

Entire house centrally located in a quiet area

Great single-family home in the center of Skien! Very central and at the same time in a quiet area with private road without through traffic. Walking distance to most things. 2 min walk to Skien train station, 5 min walk to ski center, 3 min walk to Sunday open Joker, 1 min walk to bus stop The house has all you need of kitchenware. Bed linen and towels are included. The house also has a washing machine that can be used. If you need to rent a car during your stay, I have a car that can be rented with the house for extra cost

Wonderful modern holiday home with great sea view

Quiet and quiet space with nice views, and good sun conditions from morning to evening. The house is located at the end so has no through traffic. Døvika is located at the end of Eidangerfjorden. Here you can really relax to enjoy the sun and the view. There are large flats/porch with garden furniture. It's a furnished garden room Shared access to private beach 2-3 min walk Hope you enjoy yourselves as much as we are at this wonderful place. The house is central and well equipped. Free parking on the property.

Cozy and soulful old house, 200 meters from Ulefoss guest jetty with swimming area, floating sauna and entrance to the Telemark Canal. Central location at Øvre Verket , 300 m from Ulefoss city center with proximity to a shops, cafe and activity offerings. Ulefoss is a perfect starting point for biking, hiking in the forest, boat trips, fishing and kayaking. 20 min to Bø Summerland, 35 min to Lifjell, and 25 min to Skien. Newer single-family home near the sea and the city.

In this place your family can stay close to everything, the location is central. There is room for 2 families. Contains roof terrace and hot tub. There you can enjoy the sun and barbecue if desired. There is a 20 minute walk to the city center. 10 minutes by car to various bathing places. We also have a small family cat, but it lives outside and is taken care of by others during their stay,but it is allowed to say hello if desired. You are welcome 😀

Cosy and family friendly house

Koselig hus med stor hage og uteplass. Perfekt for familier. Hagen har nedgravd trampoline, husker, fotballmål og sandkasse. I tillegg er det spisebord og sittegruppe. Dere kan gjerne bruke bålpanne og grill. Her kan dere nyte solen til siste slutt. 20 min gange til Porsgrunn sentrum (5 min i bil) og 10 minutter med bil til flere badesteder. Kjøkkenet er utstyrt med alt dere skulle trenge. Ønsker i hovedsak å leie ut til familier.

Central and newly renovated

Welcome to a central and newly renovated apartment on the 2nd floor. Short way to Skien city center, train station, bus stop and grocery store. The apartment is empty and usually unoccupied, so there is lots of space in drawers and cabinets.
