The Mermaid's Den

This is my familys hide-away on the Isle of Wight in the beautiful Freshwater Bay. We tried to make it as cosy and welcoming as possible. It's a 2 bed that can sleep 5 and has an enclosed garden at the front and it's own parking space. It's a 5 min walk from the Bay and a 10 min walk from Freshwater town. Anywhere on the island is under an hour away by car. There's a local shop + bar minutes walk away and a large supermarket under 5 min drive. Everything you need for a relaxing island getaway!

The Bird Hide is ideal for singles or couples (max 2 people) interested in exploring the local area with its own garden and separate access. A comfortable double bed, seating area and with it's own dining and inbuilt kitchen, it offers all you need for a short stay. It has a separate bathroom, as well as on outside decking area to catch the evening sun. ‘Smugglers’ quirky hideaway

Smugglers was once an old stable attached to the back of our house. It’s still linked to the house, but is self contained. It’s unusual shapes and fixtures make it very quirky and would suit people that like something a bit different. There is a main double bed and a mezzanine deck ideal for relaxing on. The little kitchen allows you to stay in and cook for yourself if you fancy a cozy night in. The courtyard in front of smugglers can be used for bbq’s if the weather is kind!

Emma’s Hut. No car needed, own space

Emma’s Hut is a light and airy self contained bedroom with ensuite shower room and separate area with catering facilities. We are only 20 minutes drive from the Needles and even closer to Freshwater Bay and minutes from the Coastal Path. The historic town of Yarmouth has a great choice of places to eat, a Grade 2 listed pier a castle and fabulous views across the Solent. The ferry comes into Yarmouth from Lymington and is a short walk up the hill to our home.
