Sakurae-kan is a private old private house located in Sakurae-cho, at the foot of the national treasure Zenko-ji Temple, the symbol of Shinshu. Zenkoji Temple is a 5-minute walk away. It is a Japanese-style modern building that has been renovated taking advantage of the retro atmosphere of Taisho period architecture. On the way to Zenkoji Temple, there is the quaint Shukubo-dori Street, and at the end of Zenkoji Temple, there is also Joyama Park, the Nagano Prefectural Museum of Art, and the Higashiyama Kaiikan, which is a resting place for Nagano citizens, so why not relax? This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noises. Since it is a house nestled in the mountains, we will do our best to take care of it, but during the warmer months, insects can be seen.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves dance. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but it's got an incredible view. Enjoy cooking with a kitchen counter with stunning views, condiments, and a cooker.(There is no equipment for BBQ.)
