The house is very easy reachable via public transportation; the post-van is 5 minutes to go, with direct connection to St. Gallen (with an overall travel time of 30 minutes). The apartment itself is in the basement of an old Stickerhaus, that is an embroiderer house where once the famous embroidery of the region have been manufactured. We guarantee leisurely days in an unconventional place.

Our 300-year-old Appenzeller house, idyllically located outside of Heiden in Switzerland, offers a studio in a converted barn. Ideal for active guests with biking, hiking, skiing and relaxing on Lake Constance. The Studio has a lot of single beds in two sleeping areas. The surrounding area offers cultural highlights such as the 1932 outdoor swimming pool and spiritual places like Chindlistein. Perfect base for trips to Liechtenstein, St. Gallen, Appenzell, Bregenz and Lindau.

Relax and unwind in the 200 year old historic gardener's cottage. Idyllically located on the edge of the forest and within walking distance to the village center. Ideal for 2 adults. Lovely garden , fireplace for cozy evenings, breakfast possible by arrangement ( small extra charge) , electric charging station according to local rate available. Suitable for 2 adults and 2 children from 6 years ( on request). Unfortunately, furnishing is not suitable for infants.

Feel comfortable in our flat. The apartment has a separate entrance and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a private parking space available. The next bus stop is 200 meters away, the train station Rebstein-Marbach is 1.5 kilometers away. Grocery stores are 5 min (bakery) and 10 min (supermarket) away. Extra mattress for one child is available.

Apartment small but nice

Our house is on the edge of the village center. A large old birch is the landmark in our garden. The stately wooden house was built 140 years ago in the Biedermeier style and has been little changed in all these years. It still reflects a forward-looking and cosmopolitan generation today. With this in mind, we welcome guests from near and far.

Whether for a short break, or a longer period of time, this very beautiful newly renovated apartment fits for 2 to a maximum of 4 people - In the immediate vicinity is Altenrhein Airport, the border with Austria and Germany, as well as Lake Constance. A bus stop is right in front of the house. Rheineck Train Station is about 1.5 km away.
