Family Friendly, Short Drive to The Mountain.

Note - It's time for an upgrade! The house is getting all new windows and siding. Things might be a little bit mismatched outside and the exterior color is changing to green. New pictures will be posted soon. (New hardwood floors in the bedrooms are next! - Stay tuned!) Vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and cozy wood stove create an atmosphere where you can truly relax. The established kitchen, large dining table and open floor plan with flexible seating allows you to enjoy visiting. Two blocks from the Sandy River in quiet Timberline Rim neighborhood, the old growth yard allows you feel like you've escaped to a tranquil retreat! Pull up the covers with our high thread-count sheets and plush duvets! Spacious queen bedroom with private bath and walk-in closet. Queen bedroom with access to patio and wooded backyard, (owner's favorite!) Bunkroom with comfortable oversized full bed on bottom, twin on top. Well supplied kitchen. Outdoor grill. 20 minute drive to skiing. Restaurants and groceries are just a short drive away. Washer and dryer This home is along the school bus route. Roads are usually plowed and well maintained. Bring towels for the hot tub Dogs considered. Due to allergies, no cats, please.

The Sandy river ski house is located in a quiet older neighborhood in Welches, at the base of Mt. Hood. The property is located on the Sandy River, stroll along the banks, easily walk 200' to the waters edge. The neighborhood is set amongst tall fir trees and a wonderful mix of older homes, some along the river. relaxing hot tub is just outside the master bedroom, on a spacious deck. Holidays require 3or4 night min. stay. This is a NON-SMOKING house. We welcome your pets, $30 fee for each pet.

We are so glad to share our cabin with you! Our home with hot tub is nestled in the moss and wondrous forest of Rhododendron in a small community of cabins. Completely surrounded by nature, but just 15 minutes to Mt. Hood and with plenty of restaurants, shops, and hiking within a few miles. There is a gas fireplace and plenty of cozy spots to sit and read a book or stare out the windows at the mossy forest. The cabin offers wifi and proximity to all that Mt. Hood has to offer.

Less than an hour from Portland, this quiet cabin in the woods is the perfect place to come home to after a day of skiing, hiking, golfing or whatever fun activity you found on Mt. Hood!
