A serene place

You can relax as individuals, or with the whole family in this quiet accommodation. You will find serenity, privacy, lots of greenery, roses, enchanting views, proximity to the Regional Park of the Simbruini Mountains, excursions, the magnificent Subiaco with its Benedictine monasteries, an approach to the art of wood carving, the possibility of being able to eat under a pergola of wisteria, listening to good music, love and many books. There is a path that starts from the property that crosses the forest.

Live an authentic experience in an unspoiled rural place! Il Pagliaio is an old barn hidden in a peaceful secular olive grove overlooking Mount Maiella. Set high on a hill it is away from it all but it is only 3km from Tocco da Casauria village, 5km from the highway, 45km from the main local town Pescara. Relax under the shade of a hundred olive trees or head off to discover the surroundings. The inside is an open space in a simple and basic style, reflecting the rural spirit of the place.

We'd like to share our special house with you, we're lucky enough to own a lavender farm ,surrounded by amazing country views with the spectacular Maiella mountains in the background. We've rebuilt The Melograno House with original antique Abruzzo bricks and have created a retro house with a mix of old and new. We're close to the great towns of Vasto, Termoli and Lanciano with their clean and beautiful beaches , only a couple of hours away from Rome and 40 mins from Pescara airport.

This luxurious yurt, with its own private hot-tub and fire-pit, is set in a peaceful olive grove, with sweeping views to the Majella mountain. Part of an organic olive farm, thirty minutes from Pescara Airport. Magnificent National Parks are nearby and the local restaurants are excellent too. Regretably, we are unable to accomodate pets, or chilldren under the age of 12 and alterations to your reservation are only accomodated prior to seven days in advance.
