PLEASE READ CAREFULLY PRIOR TO BOOKING. The nightly rate has been discounted to account for construction in the main house (cottage sits in the back). The work is mainly inside now and begins weekdays (no weekends) at 7am and there is construction debris in the garden. Redwood Sanctuary is located in the idyllic Oakland Hills with beautiful vistas, hikes, and parks within a short drive. The home is situated on half an acre of land in the middle of redwood, eucalyptus, and oak trees secluded away from other homes. Cute, backyard Cottage w/ close access to all!

Great space for a lovely trip to the Bay Area! Located in a very safe & quiet neighborhood of Alameda. The cottage has a private bathroom with shower (no tub), a kitchenette with microwave, and the most comfortable queen bed. Close to Oakland Coliseum, BART, SF, Oakland Airport, and ferry to SF. Great access to Bay Farm Trail and just a short walk to restaurants and shopping. ** Please note that the bed is against the wall, so if you are a group of two, one person will be against the wall.

Cozy Watertower by Beach and Transit

This 100-year old water tower in our backyard supplied water to beach cottages on our street. It's been renovated into a tiny home, mostly using reused or upcycled materials. We're happy to share it with guests looking for a quiet & unique place to stay in the Bay Area. It has its own entrance, private courtyard and is located one block from the beach, pinball museum, transit, farmers market, coffee shops & restaurants. Private, Detached, Urban Creekside Studio.

This unique, well equipped, 1 Bed cute little studio (that we love) is detached and fenced off from our main house. It has a separate entrance through a side gate and it's own private rear deck, with a seating and dining area... that overlooks Sausal Creek and Dimond Park. The tall willow that grows along the creek gives the deck the perfect amount of privacy and with the tranquil sound of the creek flowing (not during dry season) you would almost forget you are in an urban city.

Garden cottage in convenient Oakland location.

You’ll love my place because of the good location, convenience to public transport, the friendly neighborhood, the ambiance.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). Although there is just one bedroom, the couch folds down for extra sleeping space. Please be aware that the property is in a hilly area and that there are stairs to navigate which can be challenging if you have large luggage or mobility issues.

Come stay in a quiet, peaceful cottage in a sunny backyard on a great street in Berkeley. There's a large skylight and lots of light. The cottage has its own entrance accessed from the backyard, and is separate from the house. You can spend time relaxing on the outdoor furniture. Located halfway up the steep Berkeley hillside in a quiet residential area. The space has amazing natural light with 4 skylights and garden facing windows.
