Quiet and beautiful cabin w/view

Relax with the whole family or some friends at this rugged and picturesque location in the Tobacco Row Mountains north of Lynchburg! Enjoy the solitude and recharge at this mountain escape—take a break and take in the views! This is an off-grid cabin with solar electricity and no running water. There are rain barrels for gray water purposes but you must bring sufficient drinking and cooking water. You must also pack in your own food and bedding. Update! Air conditioning now installed!

Secluded cabin close to VMI, W&L, and Lexington.

Our cabin was originally a grainery. We moved it to sit on a wooded knoll on our working sheep farm. Mornings can be spent relaxing on our front porch while watching lambs play. We offer a firepit and outdoor furniture to better enjoy the peaceful seclusion of our slice of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests are just 10 minutes to downtown Lexington, Virginia Military Institute, Washington & Lee University, Southern Virginia University & the Virginia Horse Center. The owner is a VMI alumnus.
