Planterosa is within 1 mile of the Appalachian Trail and Route #76 Biking Trail. Located in the East Coast Mountain Biking Capital Corridor of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's nestled on 4+ acres near the Town of Troutville, a designated Appalachian Trail Community. The suite is attached to my house. Not available for monthly rental.

Edifice Rex, a 300 square foot studio apartment, is only one mile and less than 2 minutes from Interstate 81 yet offers a very bucolic, peaceful setting. Countless cultural, historical and recreational opportunities exist within a 30 mile radius. The James River and Appalachian Trail are but minutes away. The name, "Edifice Rex" is to honor the caretaker on the property, a German Shepard named Rex. You will not have to interact with him ( he wears a radio collar) but he welcomes attention.

Peaceful tiny house with amazing view of Sharp Top Mountain! Features: hot tub, outdoor dining area, small kitchenette amenities, and smart-tv w/firestick (must use your hotspot to stream). 10 min to BR Parkway, Peaks of Otter, and Claytor Nature Center. Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. 15min to Town of Bedford and D-Day Memorial. 35min to Roanoke, Lynchburg, and Smith Mtn Lake. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. (Look for Wind Tides Farm sign).
