Whether you are interested in a small group retreat, a scrapbooking getaway, time away with some friends, or a family vacation, you will find that great care has been taken to create a place of comfort, relaxation, and an atmosphere that allows you to connect--with family and friends, with God and His creation. Situated on 3 1/2 wooded acres with over a million acres of San Isabel National Forest out the front door, the 3000 square foot cabin will comfortably accommodate a group up to 11. The cabin is easily accessed from Denver (2 hours) and Colorado Springs (1 1/2 hours) and is only 20 minutes away from the recreational town of Buena Vista. Whether you want to stay tucked in or be outdoors, the cabin has everything you could need or want. The house itself has wi-fi, a computer, a 42" HD TV, a Blu-Ray Disc player (with over 100 DVD's to choose from), a Bose sound system, board games, an 800 ft2 deck (that overlooks San Isabel National Forest), 3 different sitting areas, and mountain views in every direction. If you want to enjoy the outdoors and the many activities the area has to offer, you will find that there is more to do than what you have time for! We have bikes at the cabin if you want to explore nearby, with trails to San Isabel right out the door. Within 20 minutes of the cabin, you will world class white water rafting and fly fishing, mountain biking, jeep tours, horseback riding, hot springs, ATV rentals, hot air balloon rides, zip lines, ghost towns, endless hiking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hay rides and sleigh rides. Several ski areas are within a 45 minute drive. Beauty, rest, refreshment. That is what you will find at The Cabin at Trout Creek.

There's Wi-Fi, in-floor heating, wheelchair accessibility, queen-size bed with freshly ironed pillowcases, Keurig, small frig, microwave, tv, enough off-street parking for two cars and a trailer, private bath. This recently built guesthouse is just a block and a half away from the center of town. Only a short walk to shops and restaurants on Main Street, Arkansas River Park and South Main. Visit nearby Mt Princeton and Cottonwood Hot Springs, Collegiate and Buffalo Peaks Wilderness area and Twin Lakes. BV is an adventurers paradise with miles and miles of river to explore, hiking and biking trails and 4 wheel drive roads to beautiful vistas and ghost towns. It shouldn't be legal to have this much fun!

Come enjoy our private 5 acres of Pinon trees with the convenience of being 5 minutes from town. Enjoy the joys of children on property and views of incredible mountains with the wildlife that frequents our "back yard". Relax in our private guest area locked off from the rest of our home including a kitchenette and laundry area, all separated from the rest of the house by a custom built and locking doorway. We accept dogs but cannot accept cats due to other guests’ allergies. $15 pet fee.

This 1-bedroom, 1-bath home is just one block south of Main Street and a few blocks west of the Arkansas River. The bungalow has just the basics for those looking to unplug for a bit. This affordable option was originally built as railroad worker housing, and I bought it as a raft guide/teacher over 15 years ago, and used it as my first home and base for adventure. Now I love sharing it with others. Rustic and affordable- for those who don't need fancy, but like being close to town

Our cabin is perfectly located in the small mountain town of Buena Vista. It’s a short distance to downtown, South Main, and the gold medal fishing and world class whitewater on the Arkansas River. However, it has a quiet secluded feel and easy access to the hot springs that are just outside of town. You’ll love our cottage because of the well-kept stylish interior, the park-like outdoor space, and great views. It’s an ideal base camp for couples and solo adventurers.
