Walk to Foreland, The Lumberyard, the incredible village cemetery, Thomas Cole House, restaurants and shops. Olana State Historic Site is right across the bridge! Susie's Climax Creations Farm is where you can experience a stay on a farm. The charming farm house is roughly 200 years old, located 2.5 hours from NYC, 25 minutes from the Hudson train station. If you want to stay somewhere safe from Covid-19 exposure this is the place! Susie's Climax Creations is on a quiet dead end street. Come and stay in our beautiful guesthouse in Ghent, upstate NY. Relax and rejuvenate. Hike our private trail in the woods, grill up some food, and chill with a book by the pond... Enjoy the countryside! Go explore cute towns such as Hudson, Chatham and Great Barrington. PLEASE NOTE: My husband and I are both fully vaccinated for Covid-19. And so is our cleaning lady and our caretaker. Please know that we are taking the actions we can, to disinfect the guesthouse in between guests.

The Casita is a studio apartment comfortable for solo travellers, couples or just two folks who don't mind sharing a bed! We’ve endeavored to make it a comfortable stay for a weekend or even longer, with all basic amenities, a queen size bed, standing shower bathroom, and kitchenette. Although it is an apartment on the ground floor of my house, you will have your privacy with a separate entrance off of the driveway which is for guest use during the stay.
