Unique shed conversion with views to the Mourne mountains. A tranquil location situated on our 10 acre equestrian yard but close to Downpatrick and Crossgar with shops, eateries and pubs. A quirky property with two double bedrooms, open plan living/dining with a wood burning stove and fully equipped kitchen. The equine theme is evident in the design. My place is close to Omeath village just on the Irish side of the border with Northern Ireland. The cottage lies between Newry, Northern Ireland and Carlingford, Republic of Ireland. Set in a quiet location, lovely ambiance and plenty of outdoors space. A car is a necessity. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, walkers, golfers, cyclists and ONE SMALL dog. It’s not set up for child safety. It offers a work from home alternative with very good wifi connectivity supporting video calls

Enjoy the setting of this romantic spot on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Guests are welcome to meet and greet our animals at the gate up to the hut.
