Lewis Gale and Carilion hospitals within 20 minutes. Amtrak, Roanoke airport, Hollins and Roanoke college nearby. Close to golf courses and Botetourt sports complex. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, hotplate, hair dryer, and ironing board are in room. Queen bed with a queen pull out. Smart TV has a few local channels with the ability to use your Netflix, Prime, or Hulu. 4G cellular service through Sprint, US Cellular, or Verizon. WiFi is free. Coin laundry on property and is available by request. Parking is on the street with good lighting.

Planterosa is within 1 mile of the Appalachian Trail and Route #76 Biking Trail. Located in the East Coast Mountain Biking Capital Corridor of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's nestled on 4+ acres near the Town of Troutville, a designated Appalachian Trail Community. The suite is attached to my house. Not available for monthly rental.

Edifice Rex, a 300 square foot studio apartment, is only one mile and less than 2 minutes from Interstate 81 yet offers a very bucolic, peaceful setting. Countless cultural, historical and recreational opportunities exist within a 30 mile radius. The James River and Appalachian Trail are but minutes away. The name, "Edifice Rex" is to honor the caretaker on the property, a German Shepard named Rex. You will not have to interact with him ( he wears a radio collar) but he welcomes attention.
