'The Nevis' and 'The Lomond' apartments sit side by side with each other, they operate independently with four guests in each, but if you wanted to have eight guests staying over the two apartments this is also available on request. 'The Nevis' has been thoroughly modernised, while retaining a number of the original features. The interior decor beautifully harmonises the contemporary and traditional, and maximises the historical detail throughout. This apartment is a comfortable, functional, yet truly luxurious place to stay. 'The Nevis' is situated on the first floor. You will be welcomed by a traditional Scottish 'Close' gaining access to the front door from two flights of stairs, around 20 in total. The apartment has been refurbished with the traveller in mind, but also being careful to retain some of the original Victorian features. The apartment has a self contained kitchen, including oven, hob, microwave, fridge and plenty of storage for that long stay. There is also a dining table in the bay window for four people to enjoy a home cooked meal. If cooking at home isn't your thing, there are several restaurants within 100 metres for you to enjoy stunning Scottish food, or just a drink. Garvies restaurant is 15 metres from the apartment front door and currently offer any guests at West Highland Apartment 20% off their food bill. The apartment has two double bedrooms offering a Superkng in the master bedroom and a pair of single beds in the second bedroom (as a special request the second bedroom can be made into a double if required). Both bedrooms have wardrobe space and a vanity unit including a hairdryer in Bedroom two. The main living room of the property offers a large three and two sofa for the weary (or not so weary) traveller to relax. There is a 55" 4K TV with Virgin Fiber WIFI if you fancy a movie night via our free Netflix offering. Access to the self contained kitchen is done via the hallway, offering that modern touch in a traditional property. West Highland Apartments use the key drop box system with a unique code issued at the time of your booking, but be assured we will always be on the phone for any help or support you may need. Milngavie Town Centre currently boasts twelve places to eat and enjoy a coffee: Costa, Cafe Alba, F Pizza, Andiamo, Finsbay, Garvies to name a few. It has over 120 businesses operating from the centre and its popularity is growing year on year. Milngavie is most recognised for being the start of the West Highland Way, but other walks, including the Clyde Costal Path, also meet in Milngavie. Architect's Boutique Flat

Stretch out and snuggle on the corner sofa after a wonderful day of exploring and enjoy the beautiful natural light from a classic top floor tenement bay window. Explore a more local part of the West End of the city of Glasgow with great individual eateries and shops on quiet streets leading to the Botanic Gardens and the River Kelvin. Our original artworks and books gathered over many years coupled with natural oak and stone flooring create a very restful and pleasant atmosphere for your stay..... A very clean, modern and really well fitted out re-modelling of a traditional tenement flat. A good example of a typical Glasgow home but fully modernised. It is light and bright with good open aspects and views due to being top floor and taller than the buildings around. It has a very efficient layout and an excellent kitchen space open plan to the living area. The flat is well equipped with super-fast 150mbps wi-fi, hair dryer, L'Occitane toiletries, simple breakfast items, welcome pack, travel cot, umbrellas etc and a well equipped kitchen. We also have memory foam mattresses, excellent heating and insulation plus we only use ecological cleaning products. The entire flat is accessible and there is a shared rear garden. Easy on street parking is available free of charge and it's usually possible to park right in front of the building. I am usually working abroad so we have Michelle and Annie to meet and greet guests on the ground in Glasgow and deal with their requirements. I am on hand via Airbnb messenger, phone, text and email to help with bookings and answer any specific questions or give more background on the area and things to do. We know the area well having been born in Glasgow and lived in this part of town for many years. The flat is tucked away on a quiet residential street with open aspects to the south and great local shops and eateries very nearby. The busier parts of the West End are minutes away with the Botanic Gardens and River Kelvin also offering relaxing walks and pleasant pedestrian routes deeper into the city. There is a bus stop a few meters from the flat and others with more routes within a few minutes walk. Hillhead underground is 10-15 minutes pleasant walk away offering fast access to city centre and south side of the city. Private hire taxis are not too expensive. The city centre is also walk-able and there are various enjoyable walks along the river which passes the end of the street both into and out of town. We are sure that you will love the flat, we are abroad much of the time and not able to have all our beautiful paintings, books and furniture with us but hopefully they can bring some enjoyment to your use of the flat.

River Cottage Near Loch Lomond

River Cottage is a detached riverside property located in the quiet village of Croftamie on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. This charming cottage has been finished to a high standard and enjoys lovely views over rolling fields. The spacious decking area overlooks the river "Catter Burn" and is an ideal vantage point for watching the abundance of local wildlife. As an added bonus, free riverside fishing is available from within the grounds of the cottage and there is direct access onto open fields. The open plan living space has two large sofas (one being a sofa bed, making it possible to accommodate up to four adults). The kitchen area is fully fitted with table and chairs for dining. Local amenities are available in Croftamie, including a pub renowned for its delicious food and a number of small shops. Preferred lets are Saturday 3pm to Saturday 10am on a self catering basis, however if you wish to enquire about any dates/times outwith this or a short break then please contact me and I will try to accommodate you if I can. The Strath in Killearn is a delightful country home. The cosy seating area with wood burning stove opens into the kitchen and dining area. A large lounge with original fireplace is accessed through double doors. The kitchen doors provide access to the garden area, sheltered by surrounding trees. The two available comfortable double bedrooms upstairs provide views across the hills and countryside. A bathroom with bath and shower upstairs is complimented by the additional bathroom downstairs.

Spacious garden flat with its own entrance, which is per garden off Belhaven Terrace Lane, postcode G12 9LZ). The cobbled lane has street lighting, a number of mews cottages and is widely used especially during the day. Living room/ kitchen has full cooking facilities as well as washing machine and iron/ board. Bedroom is split into main area and alcove with a mattress on floor, could be used by 3rd person (eg child) by agreement.

Great getaway cabin on the Banks of Loch Lomond, fantastic views of the loch and surrounding mountains. A great base for enjoying the many water sports available on the loch, hill walking or simply a relaxing break. We have recently changed the cabin to a self catering accommodation. It now compromises of a kitchen and separate seating area, fully glazed to enjoy the loch what ever her moods! New pictures will follow.

Stunning hideaway overlooking Glasgow/Edinburgh

Brockieside is an idyllic hideaway where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Central Valley and Pentland Hills offering seclusion, comfort and relaxation. There is an abundance of beautiful walks with waterfalls and a lush landscape. But it's only a 30 minute drive to the lively city centres of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. Not suitable for pets.
