Banool Cottage is a small, dog friendly cottage situated in a quiet closed street . This area of Metung is an elevated area partly treed with tall gums. A short walk down the hill is the boardwalk that skirts beautiful Bancroft Bay and leads you into Metung Village, (15-20 minutes). Each bedroom has a comfortable Queen sized bed , both have electric blankets . There is fully appointed kitchen and bathroom / laundry . A split system heats the cottage in winter and provides cooling in summer.

My place is close to parks. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). It is in the Victorian High Country and provides access to National Parks, Australian Fauna including wild horses (Brumby's). My place is ideal for people who love the outdoors, fishing hiking and camping. It is set on three acres with the Tambo River on my doorstep. Backpackers, tourists or couch potatoes also welcome. Golf $20 for 18 holes. There is just so much to do here.

Please be aware that from June to December the Dargo High Plains Road is closed. This means you can't drive from Mt Hotham to Dargo on that road.

This place has all you’ll need! As soon as you board the unique ferry (car or passenger) you will begin to feel relaxed. Delightful 3 bedroom 1890 cottage in Bega. Tastefully renovated with all modern facilities, excellent kitchen, large fenced garden and walking distance to cafes, shops and town centre. Comfortably sleeps 5, but can sleep 6. Wood burning stove for the cooler months. Pet friendly. There are steps from the driveway and at front path so reasonable is mobility required. Please note there is no wifi but phone reception is generally good.
