Ideal for couples!The house on the dike is located directly on the beautiful Weser beach opposite "Harriersand" of the longest river island in Europe. This can be easily reached with a passenger ferry in summer. The surrounding area invites you to take walks,bike rides ,kayak tours and bathing. The location is an ideal starting point for day trips e.g. to Bremen, Oldenburg, Bremerhaven, the North Sea , etc.

Surrounded by pastures with grazing cows, our 2018 renovated holiday home is located in the middle of the countryside, which used to be a small farm. The North Sea dike of the southern Jade bus is a 2km away. The idyllically located house is also ideal for a multi-generational vacation, for 2 friendly families or even for a holiday with friends. The large garden with adjoining sunbathing lawn and play equipment is fenced in and therefore suitable for small children and four-legged friends.

The Old Painter‘s House, Ferienhaus am Wasser

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit großem Garten in direkter Wasserlage am Kanal mit traumhaften Blick in die ostfriesische Landschaft. Das Haus wurde umfassend saniert und renoviert. Wichtig war uns dabei, den ursprünglichen Charakter beizubehalten und diesen mit heutigem Wohnkomfort zu verbinden. Regionalität, Nachhaltigkeit und Individualität waren unser Kompass. Am Rande des historischen Dorfkerns in ruhiger Lage, nur einen Katzensprung zum Deich, zum Hafen und zur Fähre nach Ditzum.

This (entire!) house is located at water with a magnificent view. There is also a very luxurious hot tub available, perfect for autumn or winter! The city of Groningen can be reached in 20 minutes by car car. The center of Zuidlaren is easily accessible by bike. There are many possibilities to explore the area: walking, cycling or by boat. Our vacation home is located in a nature reserve. The house with lots of privacy is located on a large private property with parking spaces.

In the old school house, the holiday home Alte Schule extends over 2 floors with a living area of about 140 sqm. The listed house was elaborately renovated in 2020/21 and renovated with a lot of love. The tastefully decorated house has not lost anything of its charm and originality.
