This lovely cottage is located a few meters from Vänern and has a sandy beach, wood-fired sauna and dock with wood-fired hot tub. Perfect even for winter swimming! The views of the lake are stunning! The cottage has 2 lofts with beds, living room with sofa bed, TV, dining area, kitchenette, fridge/freezer, oven, hot plates, dishwasher, wc, shower and washing machine. Large glass doors can be opened onto the patio which has a gas grill, outdoor furniture, and sun loungers. This is a quiet, close to nature and beautiful accommodation 15 km outside Lidköping.

Cosy Cottage near nature and culture

On the outskirts of the small village of Fengersfors in the forests of northern Dalsland. Within a 500 meters radius you will find the nature reserve, the big clear swimming-lake and the old paper mill which now holds the arts and crafts community “Not Quite”. Here you also find our local bakery, café and the village shop. The area offers good hiking, biking and canoe opportunities, and the cottage is a perfect base for exploring. Bedding, towels and final cleaning is included in the price.

Charming little red house in Fengersfors, Dalsland

My summer house here in Sweden is a charming little red "Stuga" in a quiet location in a little village called Fengersfors, about 170 km north of Gothenburg. The house has a large garden. The rooms are all decorated with furniture from the 40s to 70s. Dalsland's most beautiful lake and coolest cultural center are just a stone's throw away. It is a small paradise in the midst of fantastic forests and lakes and close to culture and service. The house has a canoe guests can use for free.

In the middle of Dalsland, just 25 minutes from Åmål is the village of Fengersfors. Here, just a few minutes' walk from Knarrbysjön, our cottage is located in a garden of about 1500 square meters. A cozy seating area with barbecue invites you to linger in the meadow. Home is small and cozy. If it gets a little colder and rusty outside, you can make yourself comfortable in the living room in front of the fireplace with a glass door. Ideal for 2 people, but 4 people can also book.

The Lerbukta Cottage is located in undisturbed, idyllic and peaceful surroundings. The Halden watercourse is floating past, and the distance to the lake Ara is just about 30 metres. Swimming area with small sandy beach and cliffs is within walking distance from the cabin (2 minutes). Beautiful natural environment for walking/hiking and being outdoors. New cabin with direct connection to nature. Lovely house with good energy and high ceilings! Trinette kitchen and small table with two chairs. Sleeping loft ~ two 22 cm mattresses. Toilet & Toilet. Balcony with outdoor furniture. Located on our property, behind our house, the cabin is not disturbed by it as the large windows and terrace are towards the forest.
