This is a newly renovated property with the adventure traveler in mind. Whether seeking out museums, arts & cultural events, or the many recreational opportunities the Adirondacks offer, we hope this is the perfect base for your travels. Our goal was to create a space and features that we appreciate when traveling. Unique rooms with clean, simple lines, glassware and mugs, coffee-tea-cocoa with real half and half, and towel warmers! The sink is located in the room itself, with shower and toilet in ensuite bathroom, making it easier for multiple users. Rooms 4 and 5 are offer an optional adjoining configuration, and the two cabins in the rear of the property adjoin the fire pit area. Please note that we are a non-smoking property and pets are not allowed.

Built in 1905, as the Reception Hospital, the Prescott House is a beautiful brick, colonial located in a very peaceful and scenic setting a few blocks from the center of Saranac Lake. A communal home with large open air porches for sitting and enjoying the fresh air. The Prescott House is very conveniently located, just up the hill from downtown, the Mt. Baker trailhead, Lake Flower and the Adirondack Rail Trail . Central to the Saranac Lake 6ers mtns & a short drive to many of the High Peaks.

Our 515-550 sq. ft. one king bed deluxe two room suites are beautifully decorated. A door separates the bedroom from the living room. The bedroom includes the comforts of a king-size bed with luxurious linens and duvets, the living room features a sleeper sofa, 55-inch TV, electric fireplace, wet bar, dining table for 4, minifridge, microwave, coffee maker, phone with voicemail, iron, ironing board, and an ion hair dryer. These guest rooms are located in the adjacent Compass Point Building.
