The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

Cozy Winter Break - YURT (near Longleat)

The Yurt is located in our secluded side garden with vast and amazing views of the Longleat Estate. We are so close to the Safari Park, sometimes, you can hear the Longleat Lions roaring from the garden! A perfect escape / retreat for a few nights. There is a wood burner in the yurt, so you will be super warm inside, in fact, once the fire gets going it is warmer than our house! Butterfly Cottage is a light and airy two bedroomed terraced property built in 1754, with a shared back garden and on street parking. The cottage is within a ten minute walk from Frome town centre where there’s lots of restaurants, bars and independent shops; there are also pleasant country side walks the other way (to both the village of Mells or to Buckland Dinham ( both about 3miles). Frome is a historic market town with lots going on and it is close to Longleat and Bath.
