Cozy “mother-in-law” apartment, two blocks off east Main Street and the war museum. Walkable to the shops, museum, wine shuttles, East Main. Full kitchen, living area with 42' TV, beautiful walk-in shower, full amenities, off street parking and a cooking fire pit. This is one of few places in the Hill country and still be 5 minutes away from downtown Fredericksburg. Its located on 43 acres, offers a plethora of exotic wildlife. As you drive in, there will be a second gate, there's an old style wooden covered bridge crossing a pond with cascading waterfalls! You are welcome to fish at the pond or our creek out back. We don't offer breakfast, but the kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans. We do supply coffee, sugar and cream.

Moonrise Retreat, a taste of country peace...

This country cabin is only 4 miles from Main Street Fredericksburg on 15 acres of land. It feels like a million miles away from downtown. Chickens, cows, our mini horse, Moonshine, our bull Hondo and our donkey, Jackie plus Gracie the Aussie and three cats make their home here on our farm. The cabin is 50 yards away from our house. We leave our guests to themselves unless they need us. It is quiet, peaceful and extremely comfortable and has beautiful views of the hills.
