We only have one unit here, so come be our exclusive guests. Drive down our road through trees and cattle fields and stay on the edge of the woods in a pocket of privacy. Our property is full of mature elm and oak trees. We have 7 acres of park like trails cut and mowed throughout the property. We protect our wildlife habitats so wild turkey, wild hogs, whitetail deer, raccoons, armadillos, hummingbirds, Robins, egrets, painted buntings, and red tail and red shoulder hawks are on the property.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in Luling, TX, home of the Watermelon Thump. An early 1900s farmhouse at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX was destined for demolition. We saved her! We nipped and tucked her a bit, moved some walls, gave her new electric, new plumbing, new bathrooms and best of all, we gave her original hard wood floors a makeover. Walking distance to historic downtown Shiner, Welhausen Park and the Spoetzl Brewery. Come and enjoy yourself in the "cleanest little city in Texas." Our cottage is one big room with a queen size bed and shower/tub bathroom. It is set back from the street to the left of the "Sunshine House". We have a kitchenette with a full size coffee bar.

Cabana Guesthouse is a private 1 b/1b cottage w/ sleeper sofa, kitchen, custom pool table for indoor entertainment & in ground private swimming pool & spa for outdoor enjoyment! There is a large porch for sitting back & relaxing watching birds, deer & other wildlife that meanders onto the 4 acres. There is a large deck w/ charcoal grill & outdoor dinning. Inside is also TV, games, movies, etc. Gonzales is a VERY historical town w/ lots to see!

The Gingered Swan is one of our favorite tiny and artistic designs. It has an 80 sq. ft. footprint downstairs & a 70 sq. ft. space upstairs. There is a small Living area & kitchen sink, (but no plumbing right now) an upstairs porch and NO bathroom (You will use the community bathhouse). There is no TV or wifi. Well behaved dogs are allowed with a $20 pet fee per reservation. No smoking in our tiny houses.

Welcome to small town living in Prairie Lea. The unit is a garage apartment with its own private entrance and a code lock. The unit does not have a kitchen but does have a coffee bar for your morning pick me up. We are only half a mile from the San Marcos river where you can take your own tubes. We are also very close to many popular tube rental companies! POOL HAS SHARED ACCESS WITH HOMEOWNER.
