Trillium Cottage at Lake Santeetlah

Trillium Cottage is situated on 2.5 heavily wooded acres overlooking the Snowbird Mountains and Lake Santeetlah. This very private two bedroom, one-story cottage sleeps 6 (two queen beds, one sleeper sofa) and has two full baths. The clean contemporary decor features artwork by regional artists and new comfortable furnishings. This is a place to relax, unwind, enjoy a good book, time on the lake, take a beautiful drive on the Cherohala Skyway, hike one of the many nearby trails, check out the artists in Stecoah, cook your favorite foods or simply take in the nature around you. *If you have a group larger than Trillium Cottage can accommodate and looking for an additional cottage close by, please check out Sundance Cottage. It's a very short walk away and can accommodate 7. **ATTENTION: The last 1.5 miles to my cottage is a forest service gravel road and one part is a bit steep. Front or All wheel drive is recommended.

Nestled in the smoky mountains of North Carolina this home is near the Nantahala Outdoor Center, the Tail of the Dragon, Santeetlah Lake and Fontana Lake. A great place to retreat to for peace and play.. This home is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families and furry friends. We also feature free WI-FI and a Roku T.V. -watch from the living room or master bedroom. We have spacious parking and a nice lounging area out back. We are 17 miles from the Dragon ,Highway 129 and we only a mile away from the AT. We have Satellite Internet so be prepared for Wi-Fi calling. Driveway is loose gravel up hill.
