In 2004 I got the chance to design my own family's week-end house in the village Pigniu. This fabulous place at 1300 meters above sea in the Surselva Region of Graubünden province, above the Town Ilanz, was well-known to me, for my parents owned an old farmhouse until the 1980ies here. The Spiral shaped chalet has the form of a band, changing outward material from concrete in the base to wooden shingles in the upper floor. The house is designed to connect us to the landscape we love.

The small and rustic tiny house is right in the heart of the Swiss Alps. The accommodation has two floors with a double bed, shower, and toilet on the second floor. The first floor offers a small kitchenette and space to eat. We are located about 7 minutes drive from Davos, in a peaceful and gorgeous setting. To get into Davos, the bus stops conveniently in front of our house, and will bring you back here regularily. Bus fare is included with guest cards.

I renovated our Tinyhome Gion in January 21 with a lot of love. Your 13m2 large accommodation has a 160cm double bed and a sofa, which can also be pulled out on 160 cm. The small kitchen is perfect for cooking for breakfast or something small. Also, a fondue can be enjoyed wonderfully here. The sanitary facilities such as shower, toilet, washing tower and washing station can be found in the main house, 100m away from the tinyhome. Maximum 1 pet allowed.
