The Kijkhut in the heart of the north!

You are welcome in our cozy apartment which is very central in the north of the Netherlands. The apartment is a 15-minute walk from the city of Groningen. The Westerkwartier is characterized by the beautiful scenic landscape. The provinces of Drenthe and Friesland are just around the corner. In half an hour's drive you will find the Lauwersmeer area from where the boat to Schiermonnikoog leaves. We do not serve a standard breakfast. You can have a delicious breakfast delivered via Goldenraand catering.

A welcoming green oasis on the erge of the city

Resume The studio is located in a rural farmhouse on the outskirts of Groningen. A fantastic place to use as a base to work or relax, or explore the city, northern provinces and islands of Schiermonnikoog and Borkum (Germany). The studio is complete, tasteful and luxuriously furnished. In addition to the rental of 2 studios, we have a large green yard with an orchard, small horse stable, chickens and a sweet dog (Friese Stabij). Other: everything is on the ground floor and we have free parking.

A special place, because you literally walk up the heath from our yard. No traffic, no neighbors, no hustle and bustle. The adventure begins on arrival, because to reach our cottage you have to drive a little kilometer along a sandy road. This road is not accessible to traffic. Parking in front of the door; private garden with cozy seats. Through the entrance you enter the fully equipped kitchen-living room. The bedroom has a luxury Karlsson box spring with 2 mattresses. From your bed you can look out the garden or into the forest.
