Spacious Studio Apt with ample natural light and vaulted ceilings with views of mount Rainier and the puget sound for rent. This rental is located 2 minutes from downtown Shelton, 30 minutes from the state capitol, Olympia, and just over an hour from Seattle, amazing hikes in the Olympics, and the Pacific Ocean. Also- we have a rooster & hens. We offer fresh eggs whenever our hens are laying! Our main house is undergoing an addition, so there will be occasional evidence of that on our property.

Please note the pool and hot tub are only open Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The Captains Quarters at Sylvanrude is a step into a forest of Douglas Fir, Cedar, and Hemlock. The small apartment is above a garage, and is equipped with a coved ceiling bathroom, (tall folks beware) full kitchen, cozy sleeping area with a new queen bed on antique frame, TV with DVDs only, (wifi is through MIFI, a Verizon source), a private beach fire pit with beach access, and the most amazing sunsets over Case Inlet. If you are a bird watching enthusiast, don't forget the binoculars!
