We renovated the 2 story earthenware built in the Edo period and made it a guesthouse. It is not spacious, but there is a kitchen with an IH cooking heater on the ground floor while leaving an earthenware wall or a thick beam.Air conditioner and oil heater are also equipped for a comfortable stay. You can experience the sound insulation unique to the earthen warehouse, the coolness of summer, and the warmth of winter. 【New Year Booking!】Cozy, Clean, Convenient home !

I came to Gifu in 2018, I think it was it’s unpretentiousness that attracted me . The people here seem relaxed and easy going, hospitable and very much in love with their hometown which in the Gifu park area retains much of the (Kyoto like) feeling of traditional Japan with it’s castle and a host of well maintained shrines. I don't think many people have heard of Gifu, even Japanese people, inspite of the Great heritage sights like Shirakawago, beautiful mountains and clear water rivers!
