Garn-y-Skirrid is a newly built, eco-friendly cabin for 1 or 2 people with shower room and well equipped kitchenette. Formerly Garn-y-Skirrid Bunkhouse but now with beds. Close to the Brecon Beacons, just 3 miles from Abergavenny with outstanding views and ideal for enjoying all the outdoor opportunities: walking, cycling, wild swimming etc. One pet welcome but not in March/April when we are lambing. A warm welcome is extended to all guests by the owners, Tom and Marjorie, who live next door.

Situated in their own private orchard, these luxury hand built pods are ideal for a romantic getaway, keen ramblers and those who just want to unwind from their busy lifestyle. The Wye River is a short walk or drive away and the farm is part of the Wye Valley Walk. The nearest shop is in the village of Fownhope 1.5 mile away. Each pod is fully furnished with it's own bathroom, kitchenette and dining table. There is currently no WiFi available but there is a very good 4G network on the farm.

Suran-y-coed lodge is located in an isolated valley, with a private hot tub to enjoy great views of the open hills, dark night skies for stargazing, and stillness to listen to the bird song. Relax in your own garden with a babbling brook, woodland and space a plenty. We put up the Christmas decorations around the 14th Dec 2024, the photo is of last years decorations. There are electric car charging points 9 & 13 miles drive from the farm, no charging from the lodge to the car is permitted.
