We live about 400 m distance from Ásinn. Fully equipped kitchen, small sitting room, spacious bathroom (washing machine and dryer), 4 bedrooms. Good looking view, cairns, bird live, streams, family-friendly environment in peaceful nature.

Charming house in the countryside only 3,5 km from the village of Egilsstaðir. The house is well situated for those who want to visit the small and beautiful fjords in east Iceland. The house is equpped with geothermal heating system and is warm and nice in cold weather . Sænautasel gives you a opportunity to experience living as people did in the olden days in Iceland. You should therefore be aware that there is no electricity. Everybody is sleeping in “Baðstofan”, which the space over the kitchen is called in Icelandic. Breakfast and/or Dinner is available for extra charge. You need to book this in advance at least 2 days prior. If you decide to book 2 nights you should be aware that Sænautasel functions as a guided museum from 12-17 PM.
