Cozy Country cabin Jr is overlooking the water in a serene and peaceful setting, take your coffee out on the deck and enjoy the wildlife.Catch and release fishing is permitted and there is a paddle boat and a v bottom available, in the summer there is swimming and You will be renting the entire cabin but the pond will be shared by tenants if the large cabin is booked.The pond is approximately 2 3/4 acres so there is lots of space,our grandchildren have permission to swim there in the summertime

No Ordinary Manor, too!

Welcome to a small piece of paradise in the rolling hills of Central Ohio! We are just outside of Mount Vernon, and it is 2.5 miles to Kenyon College and to MVNU. We are close to Granville, Amish Country and Mohican State Park. Our welcoming, large place is fully equipped with a kitchen, bedroom with a very comfy queen bed. It has great natural light and wonderful views! A very nice space that is entered from a shared hallway. On first floor, handicapped accessible, shower stall with seat.

Serene cottage with loft, relaxing getaway

Relax with the whole family here at The Loft, when you stay here you will have the house to yourself. Kenyon College and Mount Vernon Nazarene University are very close, which makes for a quiet getaway when visiting either campus. We are located minutes from Apple Valley Golf Course and Kokosing Gap Bike Trail for anyone wanting to get out and active. Honey Run Waterfall is very close for a nice hike or relaxing visit. Amish Country and Mohican State Park are a close drive away.

Updates include new custom kitchen with concrete counters and stainless steel appliances, new bathroom with walk in shower. Cozy 2 bedroom home is located directly on the Kokosing river thought to translate from the Algonquin Indians and mean “River of the Little Owls.” The cabin is a short distance to Kenyon College, Apple Valley lake, Ohio Amish country and tons and tons of great parks, hiking trails, bike trails and hunting. We are pet friendly (additional $25 per pet).
