The apartment has recently been renovated from an ecological point of view and has an ingenious indoor climate (clay walls and solid wood floors). It is quietly located and only the noise of the Werra can be heard when the windows are open and lulls you to sleep. From all windows the apartment offers a fantastic view of the Werra/bridge or the old town. The rooms are lovingly furnished. We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning oven, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction!

Waldkauz's guesthouse family in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love them because of the heavenly tranquility, the little door in the woods and still only 20 km away to Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventure seekers, families (with kids) and larger groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome and are very comfortable regularly.
