Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Welcome to my place, my name is Valentina & I live upstairs with my father here in Noordwijk. (Well it's really my Dad's place as I'm 10) We look forward to hosting you just 100m from the beach but in beautiful characteristic Schoolstraat with yoga studio, excellent bakery, bike rental, antique book shop etc. The main shops and supermarket are also just a minute away! Het Soomerhuys is in the center of it all! As the train station is just 1 minute away you will be at Amsterdam Station and Haarlem station within 10 minutes and at the beach within 20 minutes. The cottage is a spacious detached house with three large bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious and light living room overlooking a beautifully landscaped garden. 30 steps to sand... Boutique family guest house

Park the cars in front of the house (private). The sea is a 15 second walk (4 seconds running). Slightly more when the tide is low. Don’t worry about anything. We got you covered with a fully equipped kitchen, two huge beds, a private green garden, warm outdoor shower, fresh breakfast, cappuccino’s, speedy landline wifi, star roofed bathroom, hanging chair and ‘bolderkar’ for the kids. Good news for all animal lovers: well-behaved dogs are allowed during the winter months (nov - feb).

The studio is located in the quiet Zandvoort south 5 minutes walk from the beach and dunes. Our guests greatly appreciate the perfect location. The studio was completely renovated in 2023 and was given a different layout. The comfortable bathroom separates the living area from the sleeping area offers a little more privacy.
