We are fortunate to be open for business! Almost Heaven is located above Lake Glenville with wonderful water and mountain views. One half of this updated duplex is all you'll need for your home base to explore everything outdoors in Jackson County. Downtown Cashiers and its grocery store, boutique shopping, and restaurants are only five miles away. Turn right onto Route 64 and travel 20 minutes to the town of Highlands, NC to explore Main Street and its' shopping and restaurant experiences.

Escape to a serene & magical experience at Whisper Woods, in between Waynesville and Sylva, just mins from many hikes and the Blueridge Parkway. The Cherokee entrance to the Smokey Mountain National Park is also ~35 mins away. "The Twig" is a gem. It's a Nordic Style tiny house that is a thoughtfully designed, luxurious glamping experience with hotel amenities. 1 of 5 tiny houses at the Whisper Woods micro resort. Nearly new Park Model Cabin located on the banks of the Tuckasegee River, one of the best trout streams in NC! There is an easy access off Hwy. 107 S, about 5 miles from Cullowhee. It is close to many parks for hikiing and biking and lakes for boating and fishing. It has an all wood interior with a screened porch, picnic table , fire pit and charcoal grill. There is a nice walkway down to the river. Enjoy fishing, swimming and boating at this nice escape!
