The bothy is a beautiful newly converted farm building located on the east mainland of Orkney. The property is in the countryside, surrounded by farmland and just along the road from one of several wonderful beaches in Deerness. Should you need any items for a baby like a carrier (any age), seat, snuzpod, cot/ cotbed, highchair, etc. Please let us know prior to your arrival, along with the age of the baby/toddler. You won’t forget your time in this romantic, memorable place. This off grid insulated 16ft yurt has a lovely 4 poster bed and two cosy futons so ideal for a family of four but can take different combinations of guests . There is a small Woodburn cook stove and a butchers block kitchen prep area. Just a fee seconds walk to hot showers and toilet facilities as well as camp kitchen with electric sockets, hobs, ovens, fridges and a freezer. It’s a 6 minute walk to a wonderful beach.

Located right on the fantastically popular NC500. With plenty of parking it is conveniently situated in a quiet residential area close the town centre of Thurso. With lovely walks along the sea front, harbour and river bank where seals, otters and jumping salmon can be seen. Close to Northlink ferries for a trip to Orkney.
