Benvenuti! "Lake View" is a beautiful and spacious modern one bedroom self-contained guesthouse that I have always dreamt of creating since I first found this wonderful location. My property is situated on the shores of Lake Cartcarrong midway between the Great Ocean Road and the Grampians. I speak Italian and French with an Italian accent! There is one horse and one whippet on the property and numerous species of native wildlife. The accommodation is light, private, spacious and comfortable.

It is in walking distance to all the beauties of this heartland of Irish heritage in Western Victoria. A walk from the house can access Tower hill and even the ride/bike trail to Warrnambool and Port Fairy. We love the hinter lands to the North; the volcanic plains and the Grampians (Gariwerd.) The space is a simple attic/loft, set in a large garden with great views of the wetland and the ocean. We are a few minutes walk from Killarney beach which is a very safe swimming spot and Port Fairy is 10 minutes down the road. There is heaps of birdlife and when you are in the loft it feels a bit like a tree house. It has a compact bathroom and basic kitchenette with sink, microwave, kettle and bar fridge but no stove. Access is via an external spiral staircase.

Ella Blue has beautiful 180 degree views over the East Beach. You are so close you could touch it! This beach front property is well suited to a couple or family of four. A large deck spans the upstairs apartment which gives you amazing views and is perfect to enjoy a very relaxing holiday. The apartment is the upstairs section of a holiday house and has a private entrance. With the town within walking distance this apartment is a wonderful escape from reality.
