Relax with the whole family at this peaceful home. Located on the quiet Shawnee Island at Indian Lake, this 2 bed/2 bath is situated on a large lot with a fire pit and cabana providing lots of room to play. While the home is not waterfront, there is access to a semi-private grassy area with our own dock and lake access for easy launch of kayaks or your other water toys. It is within walking distance to Cranberry restaurant and great fishing spots and close to 2 boat launches and public parks.

Great house on north side of Indian Lake. Fish from the patio on ground level and an 800 sq ft deck on the second floor. Stream tv and an antenna. 2 bedrooms 1.5 baths and a full kitchen. Moose and Eagle clubs close by. THIS HOUSE IS ON A WELL AND WATER SMELLS LIKE SULFUR SOMETIMES. IF THIS BOTHERS YOU DO NOT RESERVE. Kayaks and canoes are okay. There is no space for anything larger. Boat ramp 1 block from house. Boats connected to vehicles can be left there overnight. It's never busy.

Family Traditions Island Getaway at Indian Lake

We were very fortunate that Long Island was not affected by the severe storms that hit Indian Lake on March 14th, 2024. Our hearts go out to the Russell Point and Lakeview residence that suffered such great losses. Our place is on Long Island at Indian Lake and 17 miles from Mad River Mountain. Restaurants and dining by land or water, family-friendly activities, nightlife. You’ll love our place because of the outdoors space, the quiet neighborhood, and the comfy beds.

The Cottage at Indian Lake

Our place is located on a channel with easy access to the main lake, many restaurants and Old Field Beach. You’ll love our place because of the location, cottage feel, fenced in yard with a stamped concrete patio and fire pit. Kayaks, outdoor dining set, fire pit utensils, Blackstone griddle and Culligan water. While we do have well water, we also had a new water softener and water heater installed in 2022.
